Play Group

At Kare Educational Centre our program for 1 Year to 3 Year old’s focuses on preparing the children for their future in the cycle one Montessori classroom. The room is set up in a similar manner to the other rooms with activities displayed and laid out in the Montessori way, encouraging the children to decide and independently choose what they would like to do.

We develop our program around the children’s interests with the support of the CBE Kenya System of Education.. Montessori activities are introduced and incorporated into the daily program so that the children can move on to the following room with confidence and a familiar environment. We also incorporate music and movement, arts and crafts, cooking,sustainability and gardening and outdoor play.
